Process

To participate in Round 1 of the Betaque Tech Fest 2024, teams are required to follow the following process:

  1. Decide Team Members:

    • Teams must consist of individuals or up to three members.
    • Decide on your team members before the registration date.

  2. Team Registration:

    • Date 🗓️: February 23, 2024
    • Teams must register for the event by the specified date. Registration details will be provided closer to the date.

  3. Apply for Mentor:

    • Date 🗓️: February 26, 2024
    • Once registered, teams can apply for a mentor through the provided form. The link to the mentor applying form will be shared on February 26, 2024.

  4. Discuss and Validate Idea with Mentor:

    • Before finalizing your project idea, teams are encouraged to discuss and validate their ideas with their assigned mentors.
    • Mentors will provide guidance and feedback to help teams refine their project concepts.

  5. Register Idea and Submission:

    • Last Date: March 1, 2024
    • Teams must register their project idea and submit their project proposal by the specified deadline.
    • Project proposals should include details of the problem statement, solution approach, and any preliminary research conducted.
    • Idea validation from the mentor is mandatory before submitting the project proposal.

  6. Confirmation of Participation:

    • Once the project proposal is submitted, teams will receive confirmation of their participation in Round 1.
    • Teams will be provided with further instructions on project development and submission.

By following this process, teams can ensure that they are on track to participate in Round 1 of the Betaque Tech Fest 2024.

Round 2 Selection Criteria

In the Betaque Tech Fest 2024, Winner and Runner-up team will have direct ticket to Round 2, Other teams selected for Round 2 will be based on their overall performance and achievements throughout Round 1.

The judging panel will consider various factors, including the uniqueness and creativity of the project, active participation in additional activities such as puzzles and quizzes, adherence to the rules and guidelines, and engagement with mentors.

This approach ensures that teams who demonstrate exceptional skill, dedication, and innovation have the opportunity to advance to Round 2, regardless of whether they secured the top positions in Round 1.
